a poem. yes, a poem.

okay.

so…there’s nothing.

there’s nothing to it.

sit upon a moment in time & pin it to a thought a process a page a desire another moment….

another moment passing & another & soon all the time in the world becomes no time & you look into your hands & find there’s nothing.

watch your mind wander lonely as Wordsworth’s cloud

attach to…

nothing.

okay.

but Wordsworth’s metaphorical you arrives in a field of floral gold & just like that:

there’s something.

there’s something you’re not going to quite pin down, a thought you can’t quite complete, a process of understanding never fully understood.

you & I are not the question asking we are the intaking thoughtbreaking wave thinking to formulate an answer

some method of response…

Got spare time for community works?

We are Permaculturist Natural Builder Community Oriented types looking for others with a passion for food foresting, edible landscaping, alternative building and energy practices, waste reduction, resource reuse and community building through engaging projects.
No experience necessary!
Some of us hosted last year’s Olympia Village Building Convergence where many people came together to learn new skills and share knowledge. The success of that event encourages us to create an annual event, but to do that WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
We also just want to get people together to share ideas and inspiration and create new projects in neighborhoods.
Curious? Interested? We hope so!!
Drop us a line.
Soon we will host a gathering of folks like you who are excited to make some fresh things happen in Olympia.
We look forward to meeting you!

" one of the first things that they did was to create a commons for themselves. They said, you know that dome in Olympia, Washington, or in Washington, D.C. Well, those domes were taken from indigenous people, anyway, they were the great council gathering places of those cultures. Let's take 'em back."

Annual Oly VBC announcement

The 2nd annual Oly Village Builders Convergence will be held again at the beginning of June. Time, date, and locations, TBA soon. A new feature for web communication for participants and planners has been created so that participants and organizers can work together and face to face meetings will not be as necessary for this event to take place this year. The OlyVBC forum can be found here...
The forum is hosted on the Tribes networking system and it is required that you join the Tribes Networking system to post on the forum. Membership is free and requires very little web literacy to join and participate.
The forum will allow for many people to organize their efforts and communicate more freely with little effort.
We are looking forward to this years VBC and working with the inspired community of Olympia once more to co-create the world we want to live within.
More will be announced on the blog later. The Blog will be a source of information on the event, and an announcement board. Times, dates, people, and places will be posted here. As well as necessary information for participants and organizers in this years VBC.
We are looking forward once again to working with all of you.
